My experience with Flash goes back to the release of FutureSplash. I have kept up with each release of Flash ever since.

The reason for doing this relatively simple game came from my idea to use the (line) drawing features of flash to dynamically both draw and change the motion paths of the attacking enemies. This feature does not seem to be available in Flash so I ended up using the simple solution: numerous static motion paths.

A freelance project for Assande Corp, designed to visually demonstrate how their xml-based messaging software functions.
In this demo, multiple animations show step-by-step mouse movements over the application UI. Corresponding explanatory text appears detailing each step. A draggable playhead allows the user to scrub through each animation, while simple navigation controls allow the user to jump from one animation (application functionality topic) to the next.

The impetus for this experiment spawned from the simple idea to create a Myst-like navigation for a 3D world. Specifically to imitate a 3D experience with a scripted series of 2D images.
In order to familiarize myself with the sound object, I similarly created a 3D sound environment.
Finally, I couldn't resist experimenting with the new video capabilities of FlashMX, so Squeeze video content is included, as well.

This game behaves much like the original Pacman. I did however add a 'warp/clone' feature which can save you in tight spots and potentially reward you with very high scores.

This simple breakout game was intentionally designed to be stripped-down, old school, simple-to-play diversion.

Still, despite some bugs, it is playable...

This is my first game, created with the initial release of Flash 5. It is pretty basic, but fun. It incorporates an online scoreboard done in perl.

An inside joke done in Flash 4. Inspired by an exchange of emails with some old high school classmates. (Of course, it is funnier if you happened to attend BHS)
